The highly anticipated Smart Poker Tour returns with a special High Stakes Edition this February at the prestigious Monte Casino in Sofia – Bulgaria.
Running from 1 to 9 February 2025, thе upcoming festival promises thrilling action, massive guarantees, and an exceptional poker experience.
Massive Guaranteed Prize Pools
The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly the Main Event, boasting a jaw-dropping prize pool of 400,000 BGN GTD.
With five Day 1 flights and a buy-in of 2,000 BGN, players will compete with 50,000 starting chips, ensuring deepstack play and plenty of room for strategy.
High-stakes enthusiasts can also look forward to the High Roller Event and Super High Roller Event, offering prize pools of 100,000 BGN GTD each. These exclusive tournaments feature deep structures and provide ample opportunities for skilled players to shine.
Main Event
The Main Event is the crown jewel of the series, featuring a 400,000 BGN GTD prize pool.
Players can test their skill in the five starting flights between 5 and 8 February:
- Day 1A (5 February, 15:00): Standard structure with 50,000 starting chips and 30-minute levels.
- Day 1B (6 February, 15:00): Same structure as Day 1A.
- Day 1C (7 February, 14:00): Another standard flight for players to enter the competition.
- Day 1D (7 February, 19:00): Turbo format with 15-minute levels, offering a faster pace for players who prefer action-packed sessions.
- Day 1E (8 February, 11:00): Hyper Turbo format with 10-minute levels, perfect for players making a last-minute attempt to qualify.
Late registration is open until the end of level 13.
All flights of the Main Event play down to 12.5% of the field.
All players who advance from the Day 1 flights will get a share of the prize pool and will compete on Day 2 (8 February, 15:00), with levels extending to 45 minutes. Day 2 blinds start at the earliest finish level of the Day 1 flights.
Players have the opportunity to qualify more than once for Day 2: for each qualification, they will receive a min cash and will continue playing in the tournament with the biggest stack.
The Main Event will reach its conclusion on 9 February, when levels will increase to 60 minutes for the final table, ensuring a strategic and thrilling conclusion.
Main Event Qualification Options:
- Satellite for Main Event 1A (3 February, 20:00): A satellite offering 10 seats GTD to Day 1A of the Main Event. Buy-in is 350 BGN, starting stack is 20,000 chips, and levels are 15 minutes long.
- Satellite for Main Event 1B (4 February, 19:00): Identical structure to the Day 1A satellite, offering 10 seats GTD to Day 1B of the Main Event.
- Satellite for Main Event 1C (5 February, 19:00): A satellite offering 10 seats GTD to Day 1C of the Main Event. Same structure as previous satellites.
- Satellite for Main Event 1D (6 February, 18:00): A final chance to secure a seat for Day 1D of the Main Event with 10 seats GTD.
Super High Roller Event
For high-stakes enthusiasts, the Super High Roller offers an exclusive challenge with a 100,000 BGN GTD prize pool.
The event kicks off on 4 February (Day 1, 15:00) with a buy-in of 10,000 BGN.
Players receive 100,000 chips, and the first 4 levels are 30 minutes and the rest – 40 minutes.
This tournament allows unlimited re-entries until the end of level 13, providing plenty of opportunities to make a deep run.
Super High Roller Qualification Options:
- Step 1 Satellite for Super High Roller (2 February, 21:00): This satellite offers 5 seats GTD with a buy-in of 140 BGN. Players start with 15,000 chips, and levels last 10 minutes. Unlimited re-entries are allowed until the end of level 10.
- Step 1 Satellite for Super High Roller (3 February, 14:00): Offering 5 seats GTD, 140 BGN buy-in, 15,000 chips, and 10-minute levels. Unlimited re-entries are available until the end of level 10.
- Super Satellite for Super High Roller (3 February, 19:00): This satellite guarantees 3 seats for the Super High Roller, with a buy-in of 1,000 BGN and 20,000 chips. Levels are 20 minutes, and unlimited re-entries are allowed until the end of level 12.
- 2 Hands Shootout Satellite for Super High Roller (3 February, 22:00): A unique format with 1 seat GTD. The buy-in is 260 BGN, played across 5 tables of 8 players each, leading to a final table of 5 players.
High Roller Event
The High Roller Event is designed for players seeking intense competition and high rewards.
This 100,000 BGN GTD tournament begins on 5 February (Day 1, 17:00), with a buy-in of 4,000 BGN.
Participants start with 100,000 chips, and the first 4 levels are 30 minutes and the rest – 40 minutes.
Day 1 is played until the end of level 12.
Day 2 continues on 6 February (17:00), where players will battle it out until a champion is crowned.
Unlimited re-entries are allowed until the end of level 14.
High Roller Qualification Options:
- Satellite for High Roller (4 February, 18:00): With a 600 BGN buy-in, this satellite guarantees 3 seats for the High Roller event. Players start with 20,000 chips, and levels are 20 minutes long.
Super Side Event
The Super Side Event is a standout tournament in the series with a 100,000 BGN GTD prize pool.
With multiple starting flights, players can join the action on 1 February (Day 1A, 17:00) or 2 February (Day 1B, 12:00), each featuring a buy-in of 600 BGN.
Participants start with 40,000 chips and play 25-minute levels, with unlimited re-entries allowed until the end of level 11.
